About Kolonialq

We are Allies of the Idle No More movement, sharing information about colonialism, history and what we can do to support indigenous sovereignty and Mother Earth. If you would like to contribute something, please contact Kolonialq@gmail.com.

Those three words come from a place of cultural and spiritual profundity, and they mean exactly what they say: I am idle no more. I will not stand by and let anyone keep destroying the earth. I will not let my cultures and languages die. I will not stand by and let a government infringe upon people’s rights. I will understand my past, speak with my elders, cooperate with nature, and be a leader for my generation and future generations.

Tribal Voice

Ever wondered what life's like in a remote tribal community? What tribal people have to say about the world? Tribal Voice, a project by Survival International, brings the thoughts and experiences of some of the most diverse societies on earth direct to your screen in real time. We're kicking off the project with tribes in Brazil. The Guarani, whose land has been stolen and destroyed by plantations and ranches, are now sending regular updates about their lives, and their struggle to survive. It's time to listen.
